Burgas archaeologist presents data on the first inhabitants of the western Black Sea coast

This Saturday, archeology lovers will have the opportunity to get acquainted with information about part of the studies of the large late-neolithic settlement, located on the Budzhaka Peninsula near Sozopol.

Archaeologist Miroslav Klassakov will present fragments of the material and spiritual culture of some of the first inhabitants of the western Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Excavations of the prehistoric site began in 2007, but to a certain extent remained poorly known to the wider public. Together with the materials of the years before Christ, structures and findings from the Greek antiquity and the early centuries of the Roman presence in the vicinity of the ancient city of Apollonia / Sozopol will be shown.

The lecture "Exploration of Neolithic Village in Budzhaka, Sozopol, from the far 2010" will take place on March 23 at 11:30 am as part of the traditional lecture at the Ethnographic Museum at 69 Slavyanska Str. The entrance fee is preferential - for adults 2 BGN and for students and pensioners - 1 BGN.
