The Ethnographic Museum presents the local lifestyle with donating items from old Burgas families

The "First Donator's Exhibition" in the Ethnographic Museum presents new exhibits donated by the citizens of Burgas during the last few years. The initiative to grant them to the museum is entirely by the donors.

The idea for the exhibition is to show the positive trend, that more and more people recently appreciate the significance of the museum for the preservation of their family history, memories and heritage. So far, the collected items in the Ethnographic Exposition are much more than the ones in display and will be shown to the public in subsequent exhibitions. Each one of them tells one and more curious stories from the last century. Among the items are the "Hamburg American Clock" wall clock, manual sewing machines, old radio and TV sets, table sets and albums, women's 30s hats, shoes, 1880s wedding dress,

The items for the exhibition are donated by the famous ethnologist, dr. Rachko Popov, Arch. Philippa Guguchkova, Gergana Kirova, Anastasia Popova, Adelina Danailova Boncheva, Lyuba Handzhieva, Annie Tepelikian, Antonia Stoeva, Ivan Mollov, Stoyan Dimitrov, Alexander Velkov.

The "First Donator's Exhibition" can be seen from March 22 in the central hall of the Ethnographic Museum (Burgas, 69, Slavyanska Street).
