Raised alone in a distant desert, feeding on roots and honey. His survival people connects with the knowledge and collection of herbs and they worship secret power of the magic herbs.
On Enyovden (Midsummer) the stars descend to earth and stale the herbs, as well as the sun also gives them power to heal. Pick them early, before sunrise. Twist a wreath in which to squeeze for health and protection from all evil.
The longest day of the year is connected with the sun worship. According to folk beliefs, the sun gets up early on this day and prepare for the journey. Young and old roll in the dew, bathe in rivers and springs, believing that the sun bathed before them.
The team of the Ethnographic Museum wishes you happy day of the sun, the fertile dew and healing herbs! Let's stay healthy so everyone can wait up for their good magic!
