MUSEUM ETHNO WORKSHOP

This year,
from June 4, the museum specialists offer to all interested in the Bulgarian tradition to join in this year's ethnographic workshop at Brakalov's house (Burgas, 69 Slavyanska st).
The participation in our ethnographic workshop will bring you close to the Bulgarian folk culture, to the games and handicrafts of our ancestors:
weaving on a tile or on a vertical loom, making rag dolls, pompons, tassels, necklaces and woven flowers, crochet and Bulgarian embroidery, sewing and decorating small bags.
You will learn traditional songs and refrains, figure out the symbolism of rituals and customs part of the Bulgarian holiday calendar, create a maiden wrist for Enyovden and a huge garland of 77 and a half herbs.
Mr.Ivan Arabadzhiev has already prepared the
potter's wheel and, as always, is full of ideas for new sculptures and ceramics.
Each activity lasts 2 astronomical hours, which can be selected depending on the willingness of the participants and working time of each workshop. The cost of each activity is 7 LV/BGN. The price includes also a ticket for optional visit of one of the four expositions in RIM Burgas - Ethnographical, Historical, Natural-history and Archaeological.
You can use the accumulated tickets whenever you attend the workshops: to visit museum with a close friend or relative, you would present tickets with value covering the entry fee for each accompanying person. For example: a child + parent = 6 BGN (present 3 tickets).
Note: Tickets will be valid from workshops only if they are marked with the seal of the Ethnographic Museum.
