The Historical Museum in Burgas celebrates the Day of Thrace with thematic presentations

On March 26, 2022, Bulgaria celebrates the Day of Thrace. On this day in 1913 the Bulgarian army wrote a glorious page in its history. After nearly six months of siege and a 24-hour attack, the Edirne fortress fell. This is a day when we respect and honor the feat of the Bulgarian wars that perished in its conquest. And we remember again the difficult fate of the Thracian Bulgarians. Traditionally, on the occasion of the anniversary, the Regional Historical Museum - Burgas organizes and participates in various events. Now is the anniversary of the Edirne Epopee - the highest peak of Bulgarian military glory, will be worship by presenting thematic presentations prepared by students from PGSAG "Kolyo Ficheto" Burgas. They are graduates of the club "The Greatness of Bulgaria" led by Petya Kudeva. The event will be part of the municipal cultural program and will be held on March 25, 2022 at the Historical Exhibition at 31 Lermontov Street, from 15:00.
