CANCELED! Kuker games will be in the Burgas Ethnographic Museum

Due to the flu epidemy the event is canceled!

On March 4, 2020 (Wednesday), at 11:00 h., at the Ethnographic Museum in Burgas, second grader students from the Lyuben Karavelov Primary School will recreate a traditional kukeri ritual. The curious students have enriched their knowledge and received specific information in preparation for the holiday from the "Ritual Calendar for Girls and Bachelor", an edition of the Burgas Museum.

The performances of the children are organized by their head teachers Didi Gencheva and Vanya Mavrova. Kukeri games in Burgas are traditionally held during the Lent time at the beginning of the Easter fasts.
