The Burgas clock was positioned here at the beginning of the 20 century. At first it marked the space in front of the old municipality building, which was demolished in the 1930’s. Until 1985 the clock was standing on a beautiful corner building between the streets “Bogoridi” and “Alexandrovska”.
During the 1990’s the old clock became part of a sculptural composition of the artist Kolyo Kehayov, which today is one of the most popular symbols of Burgas, a favourite place for meetings, concerts and city festivities.
