Burgas Free University is a modern educational institution established in 1991. Since November 2004, the students are educated in a special constructed building appropriate for their needs. This modernistic project received Bulgaria’s most prestigious architecture award – “Building of the Year 2004”, and the architect Lyudmila Kyoseva – author of the project, became “Architect of the Year 2004”. The modern university disposes of excellent facilities located on an area of 22,000m ².
BFU provides training for more than 7,000 students in 4 major research areas:

  • Faculty of Legal Studies
  • Faculty of Business Studies
  • Faculty of Humanities
  • Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering
