According to the tradition, to be healthy, every year on March 1, we wrap ourselves with white and red threads. And this year the museum has prepared a variety of handmade martenitsi. Martenitsas are of two types - with ethno motives, which are offered in the Ethnographic Exposition of the Burgas Museum (69 Slavyanska Street), from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00.
For those of you who believe in the magical powers of minerals, we have prepared twisted white and red threads for health and good luck, with woven various minerals for love, for prosperity - tiger's eye, rose quartz, aquamarine, turquoise, amethyst, rock crystal, cedar and red coral. Since ancient times, they have been considered to have healing properties - helping eyesight, immunity, various diseases, but also worn as amulets for love, luck, money, etc. Some associate the choice of mineral with the corresponding zodiac sign.
