For the second consecutive time Burgas Municipality, Regional Museum Burgas and Municipal Children's Complex organize citywide celebration of the Bulgarian custom Lazaruvane. This year more than 300 young girls will participate in the event dressed in traditional ritual costumes.
On April 11, 2014, at 10:00 7 groups of lazarki will go on their routes along the central streets in Burgas. Typically, they will visit various "houses": all 4 museums, municipality buildings, local government offices, regional library "P.Yavorov", Tourist information center Burgas, the shop "Moderen Dom" and more. The young girls will sing traditional songs connected with the ritual, the hosts will welcome them and reward them with gifts.
