The presentation of the book "Indelible Dash - The Fate of the Asia Minor Bulgarians" took place in the hall of the Ethnographic Museum in Burgas. Its author is Assoc. Prof. Tonka Vassileva - an eminent teacher and winner of numerous state honors.
The book makes a new contribution to the historiography of the ousted Bulgarians and their outbreaks. It presents the folklore, traditions and customs of the Asiatic Bulgarians, their livelihoods and their crafts. The studies that Assoc. Prof. Tonka Vassileva conducted are a serious systematization of data. They also refer to the traditional culture, lifestyle and rich spirit of a Bulgarian community, for which the archives we have are limited.
The meeting was organized by the Thracian Society "Strandzha" and the Regional historical museum Burgas. It was attended by members of the company - descendants of Bulgarians from Asia Minor, the chairman of the organization Stefan Kolev and folk singer Lazar Nalbantov, a member of the board of directors of the company.
