Poros Fortress - the predecessor of modern Burgas

The educational program "Get to know Burgas and the Burgas Region" of the Burgas Regional History Museum will begin in April with an interesting lecture about the Ancient and Medieval Fortress of Poros, which is located in the Poda area of ​​Cape Foros. On April 2, at 5:30 p.m. in the Ethnographic Exhibition (Slavyanska Street 69), a lecture will be given with a presentation on the topic: "Fortress Poros - the predecessor of modern Burgas". During the lecture, you will get to know part of the history of the fortress, the meaning of the name "Poros", as well as interesting facts and the most impressive findings from the archaeological research. The lecture was prepared by Detelina Hristova, curator of the Archaeological Exhibition.
