For the first time, the pilgrims will be able to view the St. John the Theologian's ampoule-reliquary, found on Foros peninsula. It will be exhibited for worship in the temple "St. Pimen Zografski ", Kraimorie, on his patron saint's day 3 November (Saturday).
This will initiate a campaign to raise funds to paint the interior of the church. It is organized by Initiative Committee, chaired by Prof. Dr. Sevdalina Tourmanova - Deputy Governor of Burgas Region.
The ampulla-reliquary will be exhibited for worship along with a fragment of Christ's cross and the relics of the reverend Martyrs brought from Jerusalem. All donated funds on the day of the temple celebration on 3.11.2018 will be provided for the church painting campaign.
The campaign aims to raise the necessary funds for painting 250 square meters of the interior of the church. According to the iconographers, about 90,000 BGN will be needed.
On November 3, the reliquary ampoule will be displayed for worship along with a fragment of Christ's cross and the relics of the reverend Martyrs carried by Jerusalem. The festive service will begin at 8:00 h. and the Mass at 9:00 h., led by Bishop Jeretow of Agathopolis and Priest Stelian Kunev. The pilgrimage will continue until 16:00.
