More than 200 young girls will participate in the event dressed in traditional ritual costumes.
On April 26, 2013, at 10:00 in the Ethnographic Museum the celebration will begin with announcement of the results of the contest "Lazarska kitka." In Brakalov's house will perform young lazarki girls from Kindergarten "Chaika" and "Detelina".
At 10:30 5 groups of lazarki will go on their routes along the central streets in Burgas. Typically, they will visit various "houses": all 4 museums, municipality buildings, regional government offices, regional library "P.Yavorov", First Investment Bank (Office 71 Slavyanska St.), Municipal Bank offices, Tourist information center Burgas, the shop "Moderen Dom". The young girls will sing traditional songs connected with the ritual, the hosts will welcome them and reward them with gifts. According to the folk tradition the custom lazaruvane ends with kumichene - the girls go near water and trow garlands marked in some way. This ritual activity will take place in 11:30 at the fountain of Burgas, followed by colorful dance.
