A lecture on the topic "Monuments of the Thracian Horseman in the Archeological Exposition of RHM - Burgas" will be presented on January 30 /Tuesday/, at 5:30 p.m. in the Ethnographic Museum at 69 Slavyanska Street.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the stone reliefs and stone fragments and bronze statuettes of a Thracian horseman housed in the museum. They are from the area of ​​Shiloto near Burgas, from the area around Pomorie and Nessebar, from Ahtopol, from Debelt, from Ruensko, Aitosko, Sozopol and other areas. Some of them are unique examples of stonework art.
They have a high artistic value, and at the same time they are very important for the study of the figurative language of the ancient Thracians. Some of the findings are unpublished until now in the scientific literature.
The lecture will be presented by Tatiana Baikusheva - Master of Trachology from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and is part of the educational program of the Burgas Regional History Museum "Get to Know Burgas and the Burgas Region".
