The Night of Museums will be opened with an a cappella recital by the Milka Stoeva Children's Choir at the Historical Exhibition of the Regional Museum of History – Burgas.

The recital by young performers from the most prestigious choir school in our city will begin at 6:30 p.m. In the exhibition space on the first floor of the museum, the children will present a selection from their repertoire. The children's choir is conducted by Marieta Seklemova.

During the Night of Museums, visitors to the Historical Exhibition will share the pleasure of experiencing the elegance of a period known as the "Belle Époque" – the completely renovated exhibition hall pays tribute to the urban life of Burgas at the beginning of the 20th century. The retrospective is presented through the exhibitions of the Regional Museum of History – Burgas: "The Burgas Woman in the 1930s and 1940s" and "Old Burgas through the Eyes of Dr. Melkonyan."

The third floor of the museum building houses valuable examples of icon painting and luxurious decorative and applied art.
And one more thing – in the courtyard of the Historical Exhibition, there will be a stand selling historical books on various topics, presented by the Bozhich publishing house, as well as publications by the Regional History Museum – Burgas.

* All events at the Regional Historical Museum – Burgas are in support of Burgas' candidacy for European Capital of Culture.
