Entrance free at the Museum on March 3rd

On March 3rd, the national holiday of Bulgaria, the four expositions of the Regional historical museum - Burgas will be open for a free visit from 09:00 to 17:00 h.

Emphasis in the festive program of the museum is the guest exhibition from Shipka National Park on display in the Historical Exposition on 31. Lermontov Street. The exhibition presents the history of Shipka National Park through photographs and photocopies of original documents. The complete transformation of the former battlefield into a historical reserve started in 1956 is followed. Many archive pictures show the stages of construction and the life of the emblematic "Monument of Liberty" - a symbol of the Liberation of Bulgaria.
