Roma Cuisine Week at the Ethnographic Museum – Burgas

During the sunny and already warm month of May, the Ethnographic Museum of Burgas invites you to the only museum Ethno-kitchen in the country with an unusual offer – a week of Roma spring dishes.
A demonstration will be held for the general public by residents of the village of Rusokastro. They are old friends of the Burgas Museum and work on the excavations of the medieval town of Rusokastro during the summer months. In this case, however, they will show off their skills as master chefs and reveal the secrets of Roma cuisine, or more precisely, Roma spring dishes.
On Wednesday (May 21), they will present the recipe for Ribnik bez riba (Fishless Fish Soup), which is prepared with the first green beans of spring. On Thursday (May 22), we will enjoy vegetarian stuffed cabbage rolls with a delicious sauce, and on Friday (May 23), we will be able to taste the unique lapandnik – bread with sorrel, green onions, and gyozum.
All demonstrations on all three days will start at 11:30 a.m.

Come and join us, we look forward to seeing you!
