Celebration of World Water Day - March 22 - "Preserving and protecting the water wealth"

On March 22, 2013 (Friday) at 10:30 in the Natural-History exposition of Regional Historical Museum Burgas, we will celebrate World Water Day 2013 together with the children from kindergarten "Sluntse" - Burgas. Our theme this year is "Preserving and protecting the water wealth" and is in line with more current worldwide problem of the decreasing water supplies on Earth, how to protect them from pollution and how to use them in a better way.
Our goal is to teach children to be aware of water and all other natural resources. Through interesting experiments the children will learn the properties of water and its physical states in nature - fluid, vapor, clouds, ice, rivers and other. They in turn will present the water cycle in their own understanding. We will measure time with a water clock. Riddles and learning games will extend the children's knowledge about the importance of water and the need to preserve and protect our water resources.
