On June 7, come to the Ethnokitchen of the Burgas Museum for a Pituri from Ichera village

On 7 June, Friday, at 10:30 am, in the Ethno-kitchen of the Burgas Museum, at "Slavyanska" street № 69, will be presented a culinary demonstration. The director of the museum, Dr. Milen Nikolov, will show how to make cakes with cheese and butter, which in Ichera village are called pituri. Two ways of preparation will be demonstrated - fried and baked on a spit.
This favourite breakfast of the Balkars is especially popular in the village of Ichera. There the pitas are baked directly on the metal plate of the wood stove. Since we do not have such a stove, we will try to make them on a brazier.
