One of the most prominent members of the community center is Dance Ensemble "Karnota". Founded more than 60 years ago, this formation continues to pass through the generations the beauty of authentic Bulgarian folklore.
Dance Ensemble "Karnota" is a creation of two choreographers - Zdravka Dimova and George Kinski. Only two years after its foundation in 1952, it already offers dance classes. Leading the ensemble's repertoire are folklore samples from the Thracian region and in particular the Karnobat region, but rhythms of Shopluka, Dobrogea and Pirin are not missing either. Typical of the ensemble is that over the authentic folk songs and dances, which are performed in the original form, are made original interpretations and in a try to adapt them to a new and updated version.
