The central area of the sea garden was intended to be a cultural-historic memorial to the great Bulgarian national heroes.
The great ideologists of Bulgarian Revival: Hadji Dimitur, Stefan Karadja, Dobri Chintulov, Lyuben Karavelov, priest Sava Katrafilov and G.S. Rakovski obtained their memorial busts during the 1920’s and 1930’s.
This is the place where the citizens of Burgas lay wreaths to express their appreciations to the most remarkable figures that died for the freedom of Bulgaria – Hristo Botev and Vasil Levski.
