A children's choir filled Old Burgas on Christmas Eve. In the city's past, on the evening of the great Christian holiday, the singing group at the Tsaritsa Eleonora (Queen Eleonora) orphanage visited the houses of the citizens according to a previously prepared list. The alumni of the shelter sang Christmas carols, and the householders donated money and products to the orphanage. Neighbors opened their windows, despite the cold, and listened to the children's voices with pleasure. Everyone donated according to their abilities. This exciting story is shared by the talented storyteller Veselina Kazakova in her book "The Old Burgas Traditions".
